This issue feels a little weird to me and I’m not sure what it is. Maybe the transitions from sequence to sequence were too abrupt or maybe it’s all in my self-critical eye. Dunno’…
I will say this. I again, shifted the story around so less of the monster kings sons are showing up in this arc. I think this will save the story a lot of unnecessary tangents at this point.
The side story involving them can work later on the story just as well as it would have in this arc. maybe I’m just too lazy an artist to add that many more “important” characters to the story and have to keep up with them in each scene… bleh. XD ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The more I read, the more I like! It's not only that you make efficient kills, it's also that your characters use their heads! I have to say this is one of the very few comics that haven't managed to make me go ''Why didn't he/she do ______________ instead?''
Truly, I'm amazed.
Thank you for being awesome.
Once I finish reading this, I'm gonna make a bunch of fan-arts for sure! (With all proper credit of course and only if you'd allow me of course!) Only reason I'm not doing so right now, is because I wanna know what comes next!
Hmmm... An enemy like that. I honestly can't say how I would deal with it. It doesn't even need to look at you to eat you. Perhaps, and this is just from my own experiences as a writer and reader and general savvy-ness, wrong or not, I would assume people of strong will (ie: those versed in the powers of logik though not confined to this) would be able to resist its affects.
Kinda like most people are pawns and people like Jeph or the monster king are special pieces, the pawns would be consumed immediately but the named pieces (jeph and such) would at least last longer and... And this simile really got away from me.
haha yeah, it actually is kinda like that. as a writer/creator you're gonna take those liberties aaaaaaaaand run with them. very far.
maybe Jeph wouldn't be able to resist as well as say Sharlon or definitely not Vimmer KoKo... but he would probably fare well on his own. for a while. but as time passes the element eater will want more and more complex combinations of elements. SPOILARRRRRRRRS! XD
I can't wait to see the next issue! This "element eater" is very interesting though. It makes me wonder why it's called element eater, when the only thing it has "eaten" are people.
Either way, the next several issues would probably answer these questions!
Also, congratulations on reaching issue 20-err-a C:

efficient kills... hm...
i never thought of them that way, but yah, i suppose so.
haha
but what is this new furry evil, but adorable creature?
hehe
i wanted him to look like a warrior king
old but leathery tough.

the body is made up of elements.
oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, phosphorus... and then even trace elements of others.
i'll definitely go into a bit of detail as the arc plays out. C:
oh dude, thanks! 20... "whew" i can't believe it.
little secret... this is almost a quarter of the entire series.
buckle up XD
I really can't wait to see what you have in store for this comic!
