Season 1 has begun.
as fire works fill the sky, all the teams are at the starting marker ready to set out
on their grand voyage, representing an entire region in the Grand Gourmet.
but you know I couldn't start off the tournament without tossing a little
mystery monkey wrench into the mix eh?
ha ha!

this is going to be fun.

Love how easily the crowd was entertained with the fruit fireworks. Although there was a grumpy-looking guy that seemed to be annoyed with the crowd XD

The due at the end looked really badass...and the cute little hamster is evil, apperently XD

oh yah that one guy who was annoyed at the balloons.
i had a little story about why he was so upset in my head.
it wasn't supposed to be drawn, it was just one of those weird things in my head. haha
they ran out of them before he got to the fairgrounds, so now he's totally jealous of everyone with a balloon. hee hee

awesome. glad you liked him. he's gonna' be around a lot throughout the series.
yah, Serrainy is a little mischievous. not fully evil, but certainly not opposed to breaking rules, and being deviant. haha

I really like what you did with the fireworks! Those panels really worked with the flash comic medium.

yay! thanks! i originally had them all on one page together. then i was like "no wait!"
and tried it this way. a lot of trial and error getting them to look even halfway decent, and then figuring out the timing of the panels.
haha
